And when Mammoth Strength founder Coen Wijnia fi rst started lift ing over a decade ago, he wasn't over it yet. He watched it the most in his younger years, but instead of seeing it as a barrier, he saw it as a teacher, by studying to train smarter than harder. Everything we do at Mammoth Strength is built on the same mindset. Pain doesn't mean you have to stop – it means you have to look deeper. At Mammoth Strength, we work WITH you to help you understand the why behind your pain. Every body on the planet has a story to tell, and it's our job to understand it, read the story, and then write a bett er next chapter. As Coen did in his own journey, our training programs are dedicated to addressing the roots of discomfort, moving you from pain to strength. For example, Sarah, a client of ours, suffered from knee pain and had been hurting herself for many years, trying and failing to get rid her knee of this pain at the gym or in the park. Doctors told her he might need surgery, but after a few weeks of working with us, they saw the pain subside. She needed to see training in a different way and I met with her to rebuild her strength in her core and legs, there are no quick fixes as it takes time to rebuild her strength, only one way which is durable. Fast forward to today, and in addition to being pain free, Sarah is stronger than she's ever been and set a personal record in the deadlift last month. Shoud I tell you how old our client is?
